L&T Realty Segment Posts 32% YoY Growth in Order Inflow to ₹1,300 Crore in Q1 FY27, Launches Two New MMR Projects Worth ₹5,000 Crore GSV

L&T Realty Segment Posts Strong 32% Growth in Q1 FY27 as Earnings Reveal Residential Momentum

L&T's Realty segment recorded order inflows of ₹1,299 crore, up 32% year-on-year, with customer revenues more than doubling to ₹1,009 crore due to higher residential apartment handovers. The performance underscores the segment's acceleration as it is now being reported as a separate segment following its segregation from the erstwhile projects and manufacturing portfolio.

Segment Profitability and Revenue Drivers

Segment profit before tax rose 31.1 percent to ₹1,236 crore from ₹943 crore, driven by higher handovers of residential apartments. The substantial increase in customer revenue—from ₹457 crore in Q1 FY26 to ₹1,009 crore in Q1 FY27—reflects accelerated delivery of completed units across L&T Realty's portfolio.

Portfolio Expansion in Key Markets

The segment's growth trajectory is supported by the business strengthening its presence in the NCR market through the acquisition of a 20-acre land parcel in Gurugram. Additionally, within a week, L&T Realty announced large-scale projects in Thane, citing the area's improving connectivity and infrastructure pipeline as key growth drivers. Improved connectivity through upcoming Metro corridors, tunnels, coastal roads and elevated highways is driving fresh launches as developers position Thane as one of the region's fastest-growing real estate destinations.

L&T Realty's Wider Footprint

L&T Realty is one of the top real estate developers in India with a portfolio of commercial and residential projects in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, comprising a mix of ready-to-move-in and under-construction projects. The company's residential offerings span projects in Mumbai, Thane, Powai, Navi Mumbai, and Panvel.

Broader L&T Performance

Within the parent company's overall context, Larsen & Toubro reported consolidated net profit of ₹4,123 crore for Q1 FY27, up 14% from ₹3,617 crore in the prior year, with consolidated revenue from operations at ₹67,942 crore, up 7% year-on-year. L&T secured fresh orders worth ₹108,014 crore during the quarter, registering 14% year-on-year growth.
